Brand pop-ups, sponsor sites and festival precincts — Sunshine Coast

Sound, lighting and power for brand activations and pop-ups.

Battery-powered sound and lighting for beach and park sites with no mains, set up before your team arrives, with a technician on site. One local contact and one local invoice for interstate agencies.

The Coast's event calendar

Noosa Triathlon week. Noosa Eat & Drink. The Mooloolaba Triathlon. Surf carnivals, ocean swims, Australia Day on the foreshore, the Christmas markets. Brands arrive with a marquee, a truck full of product and a floor plan, and discover the site is sand, the nearest power point is a car park away, and the wind picks up at eleven.

We know those sites. We know where the power isn't, which way the wind comes, what the council's noise conditions say and who to ring at the event office. You send the brief; we turn up with the right kit, set it up before your team lands, and stay to run it.

What we bring

Sound without mains

Battery speakers that run all day for music and announcements, wireless mics for the MC and the giveaway, and a mixer that doesn't need a power point.

Power

Battery banks for lighting, screens, tills and your own devices. Silenced generators for a stage, with the distribution done properly.

Lighting

Uplights in your brand colour, festoon over the site, a gobo with your logo after dark. Battery, so nothing trails across the sand.

Screens and playback

A daylight-bright screen for the brand film, product content or a live leaderboard, with sound to match.

Stage and MC

A small stage PA for a DJ, a panel or a presentation, and an engineer on it. Wireless for the MC, a talkback to your producer.

Weather and site

Weighted stands, weather covers, sand-proof cases, cable ramps where cable is unavoidable, and a wet-weather plan agreed before the day.

Night-time activation: marquee uplit in a brand colour, festoon overhead, logo gobo on a wall or the sand. Landscape.act-03-brand-uplit-night.jpg
Early morning bump-in on the beach: van, cases on a sand trolley, Jack or Mitch setting a stand, empty site. Landscape.act-04-beach-bumpin.jpg

Working as your local crew

Most activation work on the Coast comes from agencies and brand teams in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. We're the local crew: we read the floor plan, source anything you're not freighting, set up before your team arrives, run it for the event, and pack it down after the last content shot.

One local contact. One local invoice. A phone that's answered at 6am.

Where we work

Noosa Main Beach and Hastings Street, Noosa Woods and Lions Park, Coolum and Mooloolaba foreshores, Cotton Tree, Bulcock Beach at Caloundra, the Eumundi markets, festival precincts and race villages across the Coast's event calendar. If it's a site we haven't worked, we walk it with you first.

Working with your agency

Send the brief, the floor plan and the run sheet. We come back with a kit list against the plan, a quote, and the questions the event office will ask you — power, noise, load-in times, vehicle access on the sand. We liaise with the event organiser directly if you'd like, and we're on the radio channel with your producer on the day.

Common questions

There's no power on the site. Can you still run sound?

Yes. Battery speakers run a full day, and we bring battery banks for lighting, screens and your devices. For a large stage we arrange a silenced generator.

Can you match our brand?

Lighting in your colour, a logo gobo after dark, speakers in black or white, and cabling kept out of the content shots. Send the brand guide.

We're interstate. Can you be our local crew?

That's most of this work. Brief and floor plan in, we source and set up locally, your team lands to a working site, and we stay for the event. One local invoice, one local contact.

What about wind, sand and rain?

Beach work is normal for us. Weighted stands, weather covers, wind-aware mic technique, and a wet-weather plan agreed in advance.

Do you need council permits?

The organiser holds the event permit; we supply the noise-management and equipment details councils ask for and keep levels within the conditions.
