My story

The engineer comes with the gear.

I'm Jack Scandrett. I'm a senior sound engineer with 16 years in AV and major touring productions, and I run a production sound business in Melbourne.

Sunshine Coast Sound is how I bring that same standard to the Coast. When you book with us, you get the kit and the person who knows how to make it sound right.

Trained on big shows

Most of my career has been spent on professional theatre and touring productions, where a missed cue or a dropped radio mic is noticed by a full house. That work teaches you to prepare properly, test everything and stay calm when something changes on the night.

The same habits go into a Coolum wedding or a school musical. Gear is checked before it leaves the shed, the setup is planned around your venue, and someone who knows the system is there when it matters.

On shows I’ve worked as front-of-house mixer, foldback engineer and production sound engineer. I also run the sales and marketing side, so the person who quotes your event is the person who mixes it.
